Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted an update about Purple Moonlight. I know I promised a release this October, but, unfortunately, its really hard for me to get one out right now. But, rest assured that I am doing everything I can with the development of the game. 

I apologize for the delay. I know everyone that has been following the game is looking forward to the next update, and I'm excited for you to see what I've been working on too, but, I don't want to release a rushed, unpolished, and broken update.

Above is a visual representation of the status of the second update as of today. As I said in  the previous post, the second update is much, much bigger than the first release.  I plan to add the bartending minigame, and I'm also adding additional story events that will be exclusively part of the patron-only build. This means that there is more art to draw, more dialogue to write, and more code to program. The public build is almost ready and it will soon be entering the testing phase. If I really wanted to, I can already release the public build next week, but I want to push the release so that the public build comes out at the same time as the patron-only build does.

The second update development is taking a lot of time because everything is hand-drawn. Also, I am still learning how to program, so most of my development time goes into research about how I should be programming things, especially the bartending minigame.

So, because of that, I've decided to pause the billing cycle for November, meaning I won't be charging a single dollar from my current patrons because I don't want to charge you for nothing. I will push myself to try to finish this update in November and give everyone Purple Moonlight v0.2

I will also be posting some in-game test screenshots in the coming days so stay tuned for that. I hope you look forward to the next update of Purple Moonlight.
